Peter Thorpe (a.k.a. Nashville Fats) spent the last years of his life sharing God´s Word and encouraging people at churches, coffeehouses, prisons and festivals. His natural storytelling ability combined with his musical prowess enabled him to deliver a message of hope in more than a hundred recorded songs, which is his legacy. The Peter Thorpe Memorial Fund was established to keep his music available to the public and encourage, assist and reward other independent artists with the same musical vision.

THE LORD IS MY STRENGTH AND MY SONG - Isaiah 12:2
This song was recorded by Peter's friend, Jesse Wilson. Jesse's sister-in-law writes:
I am Jesse's sister-in-law and I know how sick he was the day his friends took him to the studio to record this. Many will listen to this song and not know that Jesse is in the last stages of pancreatic cancer...so very weak from this disease and yet his voice is so powerful and strong. Of all the songs Jesse will ever write, this song of praise & trust will be his greatest strength. Jesse, it will be your perfect song!
